My name is Eric Marsi and I am a 22-year-old technology enthusiast with a strong, life-long passion for the IT field & Microsoft technologies that lives in Barberton, Ohio. I spend a lot of my free time experimenting with products such as Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Exchange, Hyper-V, System Center, Azure, Microsoft 365, and more! Even though I am new to the UC world, I strive to empower others to do more by providing guides and assistance whenever possible.
Unified Communications (UC) is my primary field of expertise. In 2016, I was introduced to the Microsoft UC platform. Since then, I have developed a passion for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business as these products are able to transform the way that a organization collaborates. When a deployment is complete, there is a sense of accomplishment that cannot be explained.
I also occasionally post on my blog UCIT.Blog regarding updates to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, give product reviews, create how-to guides, and more! The primary purpose of this blog it to give back to the community that has helped me get to where I am at now in my career.
IT is more than just a career to me, it is my life-long hobby.
I had the amazing opportunity to speak at Comms vNext 2019 on upgrading from Lync 2013/SFB2015 to Skype for Business Server 2019. This was truely a remarkable event and one that I will remeber for a lifetime. To learn more, CLICK HERE

I am a member of the Skype and Teams Users Group which is a group where IT professionals that are interested in/actively working with the Microsoft UC platform get together to discuss different topics about the product. Additionally, I also participate in the Bing, Windows, Windows Server, & Xbox Insider programs. These programs let individuals like myself provide feedback that helps shape the future of the products and services!
